Fall Colors at Pocahontas State Park
Capturing the beauty of the fall colors on Swift Creek Lake

It was too nice of an October day not to go out and enjoy it. The leaves were so vibrant and littered the trail with splashes of red, orange, and yellows. Trying to keep my eye on the trail and looking for the perfect place to capture the colors of the day became a difficult task, and one I almost gave up on just to enjoy the ride. But before I started chasing the sun to get home, the rays hit the trees of the northside of the lake and this was the spot that I captured the fall colors.
